Why We Started Longevity East
China is home to a vast and rapidly developing health and longevity landscape, yet much of what is happening remains difficult to understand and access internationally.
Language is only one part of the challenge. Different business practices, regulation, fragmented information and the importance of local relationships create a significant gap between what can be seen from outside China and what is actually happening on the ground.
At the same time, we saw growing interest from international companies and organizations looking to better understand China, find partners and engage with the market.
Our Perspective
Longevity is bigger than one industry.
We see longevity as the convergence of healthcare, biotechnology, diagnostics, technology, nutrition, fitness, wellness and the way people live.
That is why Longevity East takes an ecosystem approach.
Rather than looking at individual sectors in isolation, we focus on where industries, organizations and people intersect — and where connecting the right parties can create new opportunities.
